Never underestimate the chaos factor when dealing with strong fish

As the season drags on Im starting to get mad at myself for not being able to hit the water. Back in March I slipped on a wet step and broke multiple ribs, punctured a lung and spent 5 days in the hospital for it. I was warned when I got discharged that ribs can take a long time to heal .... they were right. Nearly 4 months later I can barely cast a rod without pain and cant even think about what it would do to me to fight a fish larger than a bluegill. Thanks for your vids Adam, its been awesome watching your channel grow.

I'm sure some probably envision that paddle board with rod holders and an electric motor in the future

For sure a Risso's dolphin. They kinda have markings like a faded killer whale but different body shape. I see them all the time in Bodega Bay.

In the 70s we fished for Bonito in Quivira Basin in San Diego with 8 lb spinning gear using a 3 hook silver Rapala. What a blast

Fishing’s been so good down there recently. Last couple trips I could barely keep the lingcod off long enough to catch halibut.

I will never forget being drug by one of these guys in the Dana Point Harbor.
